INXS was a popular Australian rock band that formed in Sydney in 1977. The band's original members included lead vocalist Michael Hutchence, guitarist Tim Farriss, drummer Jon Farriss, bassist Garry Gary Beers, and keyboardist Andrew Farriss.
INXS became known for their unique style of music, which fused elements of new wave, rock, and pop. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1980, but it wasn't until the release of their third album, "Shabooh Shoobah," that they gained international success.
Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, INXS continued to release hit albums and singles, including "Listen Like Thieves," "Kick," and "X." Michael Hutchence was known for his charismatic stage presence and unique voice, which helped make the band one of the most successful Australian bands of all time.
Sadly, Michael Hutchence died in 1997, which led to the band's eventual breakup in 2012. Despite their tragic end, INXS' legacy lives on through their music, which continues to be celebrated by fans around the world.
